Nearby you may like to go horseriding on the beach and there is also a gorgeous orchid farm close by. Over the other side of the Daintree River you can visit Cape Tribulation, renowned for its untouched rainforest and beaches and experience fine dining in World Heritage Rainforest.

Port Douglas is only a 30 minute drive south where reef trips leave daily, snorkeling, diving, deep sea fishing and all the magical experiences that the fabulous Great Barrier Reef can provide for you. Port Douglas offers fine dining, boutique shopping, a large selection of tours and famous Four Mile Beach.

These one bedroom, one bathroom, studio style units have all the amenities for a peaceful getaway. Barbecue, DVD player and TV. The studios are fully screened and air conditioned for your comfort! Relax out on the large timber deck, surrounded by beautiful native gardens. Listen to the calls of the scrub hens, curlews, oriels, kingfishers, wrens and many more! Breakfast on the timber deck is a bird watching experience in itself, what a perfect start to your day!

At dusk enjoy a barbecue on the timber deck, spot some of the abundant wildlife and enjoy the ocean breezes that travel through the trees, in the tranquillity and comfort of your own private studio.

Bikes are available for guests to use during their stay at the Jabiru. A basket breakfast is provided. Should guests prefer to cook their breakfast on the barbecue, bacon and eggs are provided. Barbecue packs are available for purchase on request. Sorry children are not catered for.
